DAY 15, Saturday, September 24 2011: Ladies Day

I had the day off! We went to Top Springs (the little hotel and bar in the middle of nowhere) for the day and the night. On the drive there I have seen 7 kangaroos on the road and then they were jumping away very slowly. It was just fantastic like in a movie, to good to be real. During day there was Ladies Day, they are organizing that twice a year, it was good fun to meet some other girls. In the evening they were also boys coming and we had a good party and then slept outside under the stars, just in a swag and headed back Sunday morning to the Station. Because I was there the whole day and night, I did not have much time for my drawing. I just sat down for a bit in a quiet corner and draw some flowers, just in black and white. And its all on a small paper only, so I could draw on a book.
